I wear two hats — and they work better together than apart. As a luxury travel content creator with 90K+ followers, I have built genuine relationships with the world's finest hotels, resorts, airlines and luxury brands. As an independent advisor with Alchemist Travel, I use those relationships to design extraordinary journeys for my clients.
"My first trip to the Maldives changed everything. Looking out at the endless blue, one thought crossed my mind: what if this wasn't just a vacation — but my life?"
I studied textile engineering and spent 14 years in the corporate world. But somewhere between boardrooms and spreadsheets, travel was quietly reshaping me — across 60+ countries and counting. I have dived Maldives house reefs, stood beneath Mount Fuji in cherry blossom season, and hiked Mount Bromo three times at sunrise. Every experience I recommend, I have lived.
Every journey I design is personal, considered, and crafted from genuine experience — not a catalogue.

The Maldives changed my life. On my first visit, sitting on the deck of an overwater villa watching the sun melt into the Indian Ocean, I had a thought I couldn't shake — what if this wasn't just a holiday, but my life? A few years later, I made that happen. I have visited more times than I can count, stayed at over 20 resorts, and dived reefs that left me breathless. This is everything I know.
Hotels I personally recommend
COMO Maalifushi
One of my favourite resorts in the Maldives. Thaa Atoll — far from the crowds with some of the best diving in the country. COMO's wellness philosophy runs through every detail, from the food to the spa. Perfect for those who want luxury and substance in equal measure.
Joali Being
The best wellness resort in the Maldives, full stop. If you want to return home feeling transformed — not just rested — this is it. Raa Atoll. Book the Wellbeing Retreat package and give yourself at least 5 nights.
Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
One of the most remote and serene resorts in the Maldives. Gaafu Alifu Atoll — accessed by seaplane or a scenic domestic flight. Exceptional diving, minimal overcrowding, and a beautiful simplicity that serious travellers love. Ideal for honeymooners and couples seeking real escape.
Ceyda's insider tip
Always book through a travel advisor for the Maldives. The benefits — room upgrades, daily breakfast, resort credits, early check-in — are extraordinary and cost you nothing extra. I have never had a client pay more booking through me than online. They always receive significantly more.
Best time to visit
November to April is dry season — guaranteed sunshine, calm seas, excellent diving visibility. October is my personal favourite: warm ocean, quieter resorts, and noticeably lower rates.

Everyone goes to Bali. But very few experience the one that took my breath away — where jungle rivers run beneath your villa, rice terraces glow gold at sunrise, and a single spa treatment can change your relationship with your own body. I have designed dozens of Bali itineraries and stayed at properties across the island. Here is my honest guide.
Where to stay — Honeymoon & Adults Only
Janjisurga Bali
One of the most intimate adults-only resorts in Bali. Private, beautifully designed, and utterly romantic. Perfect for couples who want to disappear from the world for a few days. The kind of place you don't want to leave.
Sanna Ubud
A stunning honeymooner's retreat tucked into the Ubud jungle. Exceptional service, dramatic views over the rice terraces, and an atmosphere that feels genuinely special. Ideal for couples celebrating something meaningful.
Banyan Tree Escape Buahan
An extraordinary adults-only retreat above the Ayung River Valley. No walls, no roads — accessed only by 4WD. Each villa is completely open to the jungle. One of the most immersive luxury experiences in all of Asia. A must for honeymooners who want something truly unforgettable.
Where to stay — Beachfront
Raffles Bali
Perched on a hillside above Jimbaran Bay with sweeping ocean views. All-villa resort with private pools — the sunset from the cliff bar is one of the best in Bali. Raffles service is always exceptional and this property lives up to the name.
Taman Estate Seminyak
A beautifully private beachfront estate in Seminyak. The perfect base for those who want to be close to the island's best restaurants, beach clubs and boutiques while retreating to something genuinely luxurious every evening.
Ceyda's insider tip
Never underestimate Bali's traffic. What looks like a 20-minute drive on Google Maps can easily become 90 minutes in reality. My advice: split your time and stay in multiple areas — Ubud for culture and jungle, Munduk for cooler highland air, Seminyak or Sanur for the beach. A well-planned itinerary that accounts for travel time makes all the difference.
Bali Packages
I have created curated Bali packages covering different travel styles — honeymoon, wellness, cultural immersion, and beachfront escapes. Each package is fully tailored and includes handpicked hotels, transfers, experiences and insider recommendations. Get in touch to receive your personalised Bali package.
I stood on the bow of a sailing yacht in Raja Ampat, looking out at turquoise water so clear I could see coral 10 metres below. There was nobody else for miles. No resort noise, no tourist boats — just the sound of wind and water. One of the most profound moments of my travelling life. This is why you come to Raja Ampat by charter.
Why a charter is the only way
The magic of Raja Ampat lies in accessing remote islands, hidden bays and world-class dive sites only reachable by boat. A private charter gives you a floating home, a private crew, and the freedom to anchor wherever the ocean takes you.
Ceyda's insider tip
Book minimum 7 nights — anything shorter and you won't scratch the surface. The best charter boats book out 6–12 months in advance. Contact me early and I will secure the right vessel for your group.
Best time to visit
October to April — calm seas, excellent visibility, manta rays and whale sharks most active. Book well in advance for this window.
"Planning an Indonesia sailing trip? I can arrange everything."
I live in Singapore and I never get tired of it. It is one of the most efficient, safe, delicious and genuinely exciting cities in the world — and most visitors only scratch the surface. Three days done right will leave you wanting to move here.
Day 1 — Marina Bay & the Icons
Start at Merlion Park — the iconic lion statue at the mouth of the Singapore River is the city's most recognisable landmark and the perfect orientation point. From here, take a bumboat (river taxi) along the Singapore River — one of the most scenic and affordable ways to see the city. Pass Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay from the water. As the sun sets, head to Gardens by the Bay for the Supertree light show at 7:45pm. Dinner at Lau Pa Sat hawker centre — eat like a local on your first night.
Day 2 — Culture, colour and cuisine
Start in Chinatown — the temples are beautiful early before crowds arrive. Walk to Little India for lunch (Komala Vilas for the best banana leaf meal of your life). Afternoon in Kampong Glam — Arab Street, the Sultan Mosque, and the colourful shophouses of Haji Lane. Dinner at Candlenut — the world's only Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant.
Day 3 — Gardens, Marina Bay Sands & farewell
Morning at Gardens by the Bay — the Cloud Forest dome is extraordinary. Head to Marina Bay Sands for the infinity pool (guests only — worth staying here just for this view). Afternoon shopping on Orchard Road. Farewell dinner at Jaan by Kirk Westaway — 70th floor of Swissôtel, stunning views and exceptional modern European cuisine.
Where to stay
Capella Singapore
The most beautiful resort in Singapore. Colonial architecture on Sentosa Island, extraordinary service, stunning pool. My top recommendation for a luxury Singapore stay.
Marina Bay Sands
The iconic Singapore hotel. The infinity pool alone is worth staying here. Book a city-facing room for the most spectacular skyline view.
The Fullerton Hotel
Historic neoclassical building right on the Singapore River. Elegant, central, and genuinely grand. Perfectly located for the Merlion Park and river boat tours.
Ceyda's insider tip
Singapore is the perfect gateway to Southeast Asia. Fly in, spend 2–3 nights, then continue to Bali, Maldives or Thailand. I design many multi-destination itineraries that start here — and clients always say Singapore was their favourite surprise of the trip.
"Planning a Singapore trip or using it as a gateway? I can help."
The Luxury Side of a Country That Surprises Everyone
Vietnam gets under your skin. The food alone is worth the flight. But beyond the backpacker trails lies a Vietnam of extraordinary luxury hotels, breathtaking landscapes and cultural depth that few travellers discover. This is that Vietnam.
Where to stay
Amanoi
The finest resort in Vietnam. Pavilions overlooking Vinh Hy Bay — completely remote and utterly beautiful. Aman service at its absolute best. Not easy to reach, which is exactly the point.
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
Only accessible by boat, this resort is set among dramatic granite boulders and jungle above a private bay near Nha Trang. Extraordinary wellness facilities, incredible villa design, and a setting that feels genuinely otherworldly. One of Six Senses' best properties globally.
Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô
A hidden gem in Phu Yen province — one of Vietnam's least-visited and most beautiful coastlines. Rustic-luxe beach bungalows on a pristine private beach. For travellers who want to discover Vietnam before everyone else does.
Anantara Hoi An
Right on the Thu Bon River in the heart of the ancient town. Walking distance to everything, beautifully restored colonial buildings, and an exceptional restaurant.
Don't miss
Ninh Binh — the inland version of Ha Long Bay, without the tourist boats. Ancient temples rising from rice paddies, karst mountains reflected in still water. Visit at sunrise before anyone else arrives.
Best time to visit
February to April is safest for the whole country. For central Vietnam (Hoi An, Da Nang) — January to August. For the north — October to December is beautiful with cool, clear days.
"Planning a Vietnam trip? Let me show you the real thing."
Thailand has an extraordinary ability to be everything at once — ancient temples and rooftop infinity pools, street food and Michelin stars, jungle silence and beach club energy. It is one of the most rewarding destinations for luxury travellers and one I return to again and again.
Where to stay
The Naka Island — Phuket
A Luxury Collection resort on its own private island just off the northeast coast of Phuket — accessible only by boat. Beautifully designed villas, pristine beaches and a sense of complete seclusion that is rare so close to Phuket. Ideal for couples wanting privacy without sacrificing luxury.
Silavadee Pool Spa Resort — Koh Samui
A stunning clifftop retreat on the southeast coast of Koh Samui with breathtaking Gulf of Thailand views. Exceptional infinity pools cascading down to the sea, beautiful villa design, and an award-winning spa. A favourite for couples and honeymooners seeking privacy and luxury.
Waldorf Astoria Bangkok
One of Bangkok's most iconic luxury addresses. Stunning Art Deco-inspired design in the heart of the city, exceptional dining, and the rooftop bar is among the best in Bangkok. The perfect base before heading to the islands.
Ceyda's insider tip
Don't rush Bangkok. Most people give it one night as a transit — give it three. The food scene, the temples, the rooftop bars at sunset — Bangkok deserves your full attention before heading to the islands.
Best time to visit
November to April — cool and dry across most of the country. The Gulf coast islands (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) are best from December to April. Avoid the west coast islands in May to October during monsoon season.
"Planning a Thailand trip? I'd love to help design it."
Japan is unlike anywhere else on earth. It will overwhelm your senses, humble your expectations, and make you want to return before you have even left. As a child I once saw a photograph of Mount Fuji framed by cherry blossoms and promised myself I would stand there one day. In 2019, I did. Some travel dreams are worth every year of waiting.
Where to stay
Aman Tokyo
The finest hotel in Tokyo. Occupying the top six floors of the Otemachi Tower, the lobby is one of the most breathtaking spaces I have ever entered. Japanese minimalism at its most refined — the perfect base for exploring the city.
Hoshinoya Kyoto
Only accessible by boat along the Oi River — already unlike any other hotel arrival. Traditional ryokan rooms, exceptional kaiseki dining, and a location deep in the Arashiyama bamboo forest. One of the most memorable stays of my life.
The Ritz-Carlton Nikko
Overlooking Lake Chuzenji in the mountains above Nikko. A stunning combination of Japanese aesthetics and Ritz-Carlton service. Perfect as a day trip or overnight from Tokyo — the autumn foliage here is extraordinary.
Ceyda's insider tip
Book your bullet train tickets in advance and get a Japan Rail Pass before you arrive — it makes travelling between Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka completely seamless. And visit Nara for half a day — the deer park is genuinely magical and most tourists skip it.
Best time to visit
Cherry blossom season (late March to mid April) is magical but busy — book 6+ months ahead. November for autumn colours is equally beautiful with fewer crowds. Avoid Golden Week (late April to early May) when domestic travel is at its peak.
"Japan is a trip of a lifetime — let me help you plan it right."
Sri Lanka packs more into a small island than almost any destination on earth. Ancient temples, rolling tea plantations, incredible wildlife safaris, pristine beaches and some of the warmest people I have ever met. It is endlessly surprising and deeply beautiful.
Where to stay
Uga Jungle Beach
Hidden between jungle and a pristine beach near Trincomalee on the east coast. One of the most secluded luxury resorts in Sri Lanka — only accessible by a short boat ride. Exceptional snorkelling, completely private, and utterly beautiful.
Wild Coast Tented Lodge
Safari tents beside a dry riverbed in Yala National Park. Fall asleep to the sounds of elephants and leopards in the darkness. The best safari experience in Sri Lanka and one of the most extraordinary wildlife resorts in Asia.
Heritance Tea Factory
A former tea factory in the highlands of Nuwara Eliya, converted into a unique hotel surrounded by tea estates. Cool mountain air, stunning views and a fascinating history. The tea plantation walks here are among my favourite experiences in the country.
Ceyda's insider tip
Do the full circuit — Colombo, Cultural Triangle (Sigiriya, Dambulla), tea country (Ella, Nuwara Eliya), Yala safari, and end on the south coast beaches. Sri Lanka rewards the traveller who takes their time. Minimum 10 days, ideally 14.
Best time to visit
December to March for the west and south coasts. April to September for the east coast (Trincomalee, Arugam Bay). The highlands are beautiful year-round. Sri Lanka's dual monsoon system means some part of the island is always sunny.
"Sri Lanka is endlessly surprising — let me show you the best of it."
Fiji is one of those destinations that exceeds every expectation. 333 islands, crystal-clear lagoons, some of the world's best soft coral diving, and a warmth of welcome that is genuinely unlike anywhere else on earth. The Fijian people will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Where to stay
Laucala Island
One of the most exclusive private island resorts on earth. Only 25 villas on a 3,500-acre working island. Golf course, equestrian centre, submarine, organic farm — this is Fiji at its most extraordinary. Worth every dollar for a once-in-a-lifetime escape.
Six Senses Fiji
On Malolo Island in the Mamanuca group — spectacular setting with the iconic Fijian soft coral reefs at your doorstep. Six Senses' wellness philosophy combined with Fiji's natural beauty makes this one of the Pacific's finest resorts.
Kokomo Private Island
A beautifully designed private island resort in the Kadavu group — home to the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the world's largest barrier reefs. Exceptional diving, complete seclusion and the kind of barefoot luxury that Fiji does better than anywhere.
Best time to visit
May to October — dry season with lower humidity and ideal diving conditions. July and August are peak season. November to April brings more rain and occasional cyclones but also lush green landscapes and lower rates.
"Planning a Fiji escape? I'd love to help you find your island."
French Polynesia is the definition of a dream destination. Bora Bora's turquoise lagoon, Moorea's dramatic volcanic peaks, the remote atolls of the Tuamotus — this is the Pacific at its most breathtaking and most romantic. Few destinations on earth rival it for a honeymoon or milestone celebration.
Where to stay
Four Seasons Bora Bora
The gold standard of overwater bungalow resorts. Sitting directly on the most beautiful lagoon in the world, this is the Bora Bora experience at its finest. Overwater villas with direct lagoon access, spectacular coral gardens and Four Seasons service. Book the Overwater Bungalow with Pool for the ultimate experience.
The Brando, Tetiaroa
Built on Marlon Brando's private atoll, this is one of the most exclusive and eco-conscious luxury resorts on earth. 35 villas on a pristine motu — private, remote and extraordinary. The ultimate French Polynesian escape for those who want absolute privacy.
Ceyda's insider tip
Don't just do Bora Bora. Add Moorea (30 minutes by ferry) for hiking and black pearl farms, or the Tuamotu atolls for the best diving in the Pacific. A multi-island itinerary transforms a good trip into an unforgettable one.
Best time to visit
May to October — dry season, cooler temperatures and the best conditions for water activities. July and August are busiest. November to April is warmer and wetter, with lower rates and fewer visitors.
"French Polynesia is the perfect honeymoon destination — let me plan it."
Australia is a continent masquerading as a country — impossibly vast, endlessly varied and consistently spectacular. From the iconic Sydney Harbour to the otherworldly red landscapes of the Outback, the Great Barrier Reef to world-class wine regions, Australia rewards every traveller who goes beyond the obvious.
Sydney — New Year's Eve
Sydney New Year's Eve is one of the greatest celebrations on earth. The fireworks over Sydney Harbour — with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as the backdrop — are breathtaking. Book your hotel and viewing position well in advance — premium spots sell out a year ahead.
Where to stay
Park Hyatt Sydney
The finest hotel in Sydney — and possibly the best hotel location in the world. Right on Sydney Harbour, directly facing the Opera House. For New Year's Eve, harbour-facing rooms offer some of the best private fireworks views in the city. Book 12 months ahead for NYE.
Capella Sydney
Opened in 2023 — Sydney's most design-forward luxury hotel. A stunning restoration of two heritage buildings in the CBD with exceptional spa and outstanding restaurants.
Best time to visit
September to November and March to May offer the best weather. December 31st in Sydney is iconic whatever the weather.
"Planning Australia or a Sydney NYE experience? I'd love to help."
New Zealand's South Island is one of the most dramatically beautiful places on earth. Mountains that plunge into the sea, ancient glaciers, rainforests alive with birdsong — landscapes so extraordinary they were chosen as Middle-earth for a reason.
Fiordland — Milford & Doubtful Sound
Milford Sound is one of the world's great natural wonders — sheer granite cliffs rising 1,200 metres from the water, waterfalls cascading from invisible heights. Doubtful Sound is less visited and even more spectacular. The best way to experience both is by overnight cruise.
Where to stay
Matakauri Lodge — Queenstown
On the shores of Lake Wakatipu with the Remarkables mountain range as your backdrop. One of New Zealand's finest luxury lodges — intimate, beautifully designed, perfect base for Fiordland adventures.
Blanket Bay Lodge — Glenorchy
An iconic lodge on Lake Wakatipu at the foot of the Southern Alps. Stone and timber architecture, open fires, exceptional cuisine and wilderness that restores the soul completely.
Ceyda's insider tip
Do the South Island self-drive — Christchurch to Queenstown via the West Coast glaciers takes 5–6 days and is one of the great road trips of the world. Add a scenic flight over Milford Sound.
Best time to visit
December to February for warm weather. March to May for autumn colours and fewer crowds. June to August for snow and world-class skiing at Queenstown.
"New Zealand is unlike anywhere else — let me help you experience it."
Türkiye is one of those rare destinations that manages to be everything at once — ancient and modern, wild and refined, deeply cultural and completely intoxicating. I grew up knowing this country from the inside, and every time I return I discover something new. Most visitors see Istanbul and perhaps Cappadocia. But the Türkiye I want to show you is something far more extraordinary — the one that takes you along a turquoise coastline by wooden sailing ship, into hidden bays where no road can reach, and through villages where time moves differently.
The Blue Voyage — Gulet Charter
The Blue Voyage — Mavi Yolculuk — is one of the great travel experiences of the world, and one that most international visitors never discover. A gulet is a traditional Turkish wooden sailing vessel, handcrafted from local timber, with private cabins, a sun deck, and a crew who cook, sail and take care of everything while you drift along one of the most beautiful coastlines on earth.
You wake up each morning in a different bay. You swim off the back of the boat into water so clear and turquoise it looks unreal. You eat fresh fish grilled on board as the sun sets over ancient ruins on the hillside. There is no resort that replicates this feeling — it is entirely its own kind of luxury.
The Route
The classic Blue Voyage route runs along the Turkish Riviera — typically starting in Bodrum or Marmaris and sailing east toward Fethiye, Göcek, Kaş and Kekova. Most charters run 7 to 10 nights. Every day brings a new anchorage, a new cove, a new piece of coastline more beautiful than the last.
Kaş — The Hidden Jewel
Kaş is my favourite town on the entire Turkish coast — and one of the most charming small towns I have encountered anywhere in the world. Perched on a hillside above an impossibly blue bay, with Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs above and the Greek island of Meis visible just across the water, Kaş feels like a secret that the world has not yet fully discovered.
The town itself is small enough to walk in 20 minutes — cobblestone streets lined with bougainvillea, boutique shops selling local crafts, rooftop restaurants where you eat mezze as the sun sinks into the sea. The diving here is exceptional — Kaş is considered one of the best dive sites in the Mediterranean, with ancient amphoras and Lycian sarcophagi resting on the seabed.
Kekova — Sunken City
Just a short sail from Kaş lies Kekova — one of the most extraordinary natural and historical sites in Türkiye. A 2nd-century earthquake partially submerged an entire ancient Lycian city beneath the clear turquoise water. Today you can glide over it in a traditional boat or kayak, looking down through the water at staircases, doorways and walls that have been resting on the seabed for nearly two thousand years.
The village of Kaleköy sits on the hillside above — a cluster of stone houses and a Crusader castle reached by a steep path, with no cars, no roads, and one of the most breathtaking views of any village I have ever seen. Arriving here by gulet as the sun rises is a moment I will never forget.
Where to stay in Kaş
Private Gulet Charter
For the Blue Voyage, a private gulet is the only way. I arrange fully crewed charters along the Turkish Riviera — from intimate boats for couples to larger groups of up to 12. Every detail arranged, from the route to the menus. Contact me to discuss your perfect Blue Voyage.
Lukka Exclusive Hotel — Kaş
In the top 1% of all hotels in Türkiye on TripAdvisor — and when you see it, you understand why. Perched on the rocks of the Kaş peninsula with a private beach, saltwater infinity pool and direct Mediterranean access. Adults-only, just 19 rooms, Tempur-Pedic beds and breathtaking sea views from every balcony. Guests consistently say the same thing: they never wanted to leave. The perfect base for exploring Kaş, Kekova and the surrounding coast.
Peninsula Gardens Hotel — Kaş
Built into the cliffs of the Kaş peninsula with a setting reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast. Just 18 rooms and suites — 13 with their own private plunge pools — cascading down terraces toward the sea. An infinity pool, private sea access platforms with padded sunbeds, and an elegant Turkish restaurant with uninterrupted Mediterranean views. Adults-only and designed for couples and honeymooners. One of the most beautifully designed boutique hotels on the entire Lycian Coast.
Beyond the coast — don't miss
Istanbul for at least 3 nights — the Bosphorus, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and one of the world's great food scenes. Cappadocia for the hot air balloons at sunrise over the fairy chimneys — book the balloon flight the moment you confirm your dates as they sell out months in advance.
Ceyda's insider tip
The Turkish coast in September and October is magical — the summer crowds have gone, the sea is warm from months of sunshine, and the light turns golden every afternoon. This is when the Blue Voyage is at its most beautiful. I always recommend late September as the perfect window.
Best time to visit
For the coast and Blue Voyage: May to June and September to October. July and August are peak season — beautiful but busy and very hot. For Istanbul: April to June and September to November — mild, golden and ideal for exploring on foot. Cappadocia is spectacular year-round, but spring and autumn offer the clearest balloon conditions.
"Ready to discover Türkiye like a local? Let me plan your Blue Voyage."
